Jim Martins – Sculptor

Based in Salcombe, South Devon, Jim has been sculpting for 26 years, his work has developed over time and continues to do so having created hundreds of respected works that are continually receiving good comments. Apart from various stones, he uses several different materials and discusses this fully with the client beforehand.

To date, there are 16 of his stone carvings on public display in his town alone, many others and smaller works can be found around the UK. And Europe.

Apart from many private commissions on two occasions Jim has been commissioned by the R.N.L.I. to create sculptures, the second of which (two bronze lifeboats on a limestone sea, in neighbouring towns) were both unveiled by H.R.H. The Duke Of Kent.
